Have arrived safely, though got a touch of asian belly yesterday that laid me low. The water festival is in full swing – the lot of foreigner here have manged to stuff it up – not knowing when to stop. Around this area where I am staying there is a number of bars the young 20 year old males and the not so young 50+ males from all over the world take it upon themselves to get the biggest water pistols available to menace passers by. I do get the impression that most of these guys think thai culture is a seedy bar and the bottom od a beer glass.
besides that it is very hot here. Hope to be moving south tomorrow depending on getting a bus out of Bangkok
