Did a small tour around the area here there is considerable development starting – lot of condos etc and a lot of Swiss coming in for retirement and escaping the winter.
My guess is that in two to three years it will be completely different here and the impact on the locals will be immense and hopefully good. The work Wataboutcanbodia is starting here for the kids will be in tune with this development. Its a pity the development here cant be done as in say Queensland where the government commits the developers into providing community facilities as part of the development.
The village is dependant on the local fish industry.
